There's nothing on telly so I thought I'd write a little instead, that is after I'd sourced a unit for my bathroom. Yes, the bathroom is still getting done. It's nearing the end now, the walls tiles are being grouted as we speak. And, they look damn fine too. Hubby has to go away for a few days so the bathroom has to go on hold BUT it has to be finished by next Thursday as we have brother-in-law & partner coming up for a night. Haven't seen his side of the family in ages, it must be coming up for a year or more. Had a big fall out with my mother-in-law (MIL) and sister-in-law (SIL), my hubby hasn't spoken to them since and that's been nearly 2yrs now. Don't really miss the contact but I feel it for my boys, its got nothing to do with them but no-one calls to speak to them or writes them a letter. They get the b/day & Xmas gifts but it doesn't mean anything.
Anyway, don't get me started on that lot. I have my friend coming over for tea tomorrow night and she's bringing me her bike, which she no longer needs. I'm quite excited about that, I really fancy cycling again although the last time I did it, I loathed it. I got my eldest a cool bike from Freecycle on Sunday, it needs a new seat but other than that its great. He's so excited too. Promised to take him to Halfords on Sunday to get a new seat and new helmet. I can see it now, family bike rides except hubby hasn't got one yet. A possible Xmas pressie I think!!
